Technoir Events and SickSound Productions, along with The Dubland Underground, team up to bring you ‘Awake the Machines’, a buffet of talented electronic musicians and DJs from Rochester and Syracuse, New York. This event will showcase a variety of genres of electronic music, including Tech House, Minimal Techno, Progressive House, PsyTrance, Dark Trance, EBM/Industrial and Electro. Local PsyTrance act Dharma Lab and Syracuse’s mighty duo Mike Sims and Sean Place will be headlining the event, along with Club Vertex’s DJ Darkwave, TechNoir Events founder DJ Nekrotique, SickSound’s founder DJ Acheron, along with 4 other talented DJs. As if that’s not enough to peak your interest, they will also be raffling off baskets of goodies for charity. All money collected from the raffle will be going to the Rochester Chapter of The Humane Society.

Iszoloscope is an industrial band from Aylmer, Quebec, currently based in Montreal. Iszoloscope's music ranges from harsh, rhythmic noise to ambient soundscapes. The band has performed at Germany's Maschinenfest festival and released several albums and EPs on the Ant-Zen record label.

Iszoloscope was created in 1999, when Yann Faussurier and François Bénard met while working at a radio station as DJs. Bénard left the radio field just before the release of their first record, Coagulating Wreckage, and Faussurier has continued the project. In 2007 Faussurier was joined by Guillaume Nadon for live performances as well as the anticipated new Iszoloscope album. They have been working together ever since.

Ad·ver·sary is an industrial project fronted by Jairus Khan, hailing from Ottawa, Canada. Ad·ver·sary has joined several acts on tours of the United States and Canada, including Iszoloscope, Terrorfakt, Antigen Shift, DJ leslie, and Adam X. His remix work includes material from Iszoloscope, Converter, Cyanotic and Urusai.

In 2008, Ad·ver·sary signed to the Tympanik Audio label to release his debut album Bone Music, which was also made available as a free download under Creative Commons licensing. The critically-acclaimed album was mastered by Yann Faussurier of Iszoloscope, containing remixes by Antigen Shift, Tonikom, and Synapscape.

Khan's sister is the Juno nominated artist Eternia.

The Table

The Table is an ambient/electronic trio consisting of Craig Marlowe and Chris Hine (both of Rochester) and Jeremy Dziedzic (Syracuse). Live, the trio performs an intelligently crafted mix of improvised atmospheres drawn from electronic and electro-acoustic instrumentation. An open platform leaves the members free to explore a number of directions during a given set with the only imposed limitation being that the players chosen instruments must all fit on, and be played on, a single table. Using only an available table the trio must not only utilize the space effectively but, in most cases, creatively.

Hellfira was started in 2003 by DJ Dan Dangler from Rochester New York. Since the late 90's, Dangler promoted many underground shows through the name 'House of Hellfira'.
