Lewiston in the nice weather is the best place to hang for a day.....Hops N Vines is great, live music almost every night now, and the Pub has over 100 beers with 40 on tap.

I'm told I should dig the Trews more than I do, but they are still a good time

The village is a really great little strip - excellent food and variety. Cool bars with functioning bathrooms. Plus I never feel like my car is going to get broken into.

Not many single moms though....I'm all about single moms with self esteem issues with drinking problems who like to listen to Molly Hatchet and scream, fuck yeah Molly Hatchet.

This is the kind of real-life and vital information I glean from this site.

I just plain would not know these things exist but for the sharing done on this board.

A heart-felt thank you.

Bring a 12 pack of Steel Reserve and meet me at the Super Walmart in the Falls.....there's a whole other world out there for you to explore.

Side Note: I stopped there for Golf Balls on the way home from the Falls Airport on sunday....a rather large philly was wearing pink sweat pants with her thong sticking out and across the ass was simply printed.....BITCH. That's what I'm talking about!

I think the quaint descriptions of the unwashed masses I get from you guys are plenty.

Plus, I don't think my insides could tolerate whatever's in that cardboard box.

According to this Buffalo News article - link - regarding the Lkpt concerts:

"She said she spent as much as $65,000 on a headliner several times, although
she wouldn’t name names. The lowest-priced headliner she booked in six years
in Lockport cost her $18,000."

Got me to thinking - what (several) acts that played Lkpt. might command 65K?
Anyone have any guesses?...

I would think Moonlight Drive - basically, The Doors with Ian Astbury singing would be a contender.

i think you would be surprised what bands have for a quote.....bands like the B52's - Mule and such. I know DSO when they played the last show at the NT canal series got $25k. They are awesome X 10, nation wide following, but still a tribute band. $25k.
