The end of the world as we know it.....

... at least for Allman Brother Band fans. Warren and Derek exiting stage left after 2014. This does not make me happy.

I guess they'll have to find two other dudes to play the same songs over and over and over and over and over again until they die.

You're such a dick.... I'll never understand why DP loves you so much.

It's not like I said those guys aren't super talented, because they are. I'm not knocking the band at all or those players.

But come on, they could put Pee Wee Herman and Sponge Bob Squarepants up there and still sell out Darien Lake every summer. The average 97 rocker just wants to go get fucked up and here whipping post for 17 minutes for the millionth summer in a row.

Shit look at Lynyrd Skynyrd. What do they have one original guy or something and dudes little brother singing? Still pack 'em in every summer. It's like brand recognition.

And DP loves me because he's an even bigger asshole.

FWIW, I think you're right about the brand recognition thing but I don't think they could have just anyone playing with them. Part of that recognition and following is based on ABB having quality players up there, regardless of who it's been. Skynyrd is probably the same way.

DP and I just scored our Beacon Theater tickets for sat 3/15... that's right, St. Patty's day weekend in NYC with our one who comes from the isles brother-in-law. I'm saving up bail money now....

Remove the Eddie Spaghetti quote. He's too cool for you.

I'll do that when you correct your location. I know the name of your street, and it is not Acacia Avenue.

BTW - how do you live next to a park? I thought there was a minimum distance for you "registered" types.
