Is it me or does the Bongo look like a toilet seat that somebody forgot to put the hole in... I tried one out at G.C. and thought it sounded pretty good, I didn't like the setup on it though and I like alittle wider fretboard...

Thanks! I've never heard anything sustain like that, ever. Not even a $1000+ Conklin into an Ampeg tube head. (though that'll feed back after a while, which is cool in it's own right.) It sounded ridiculously thick and defined, even on chords and the low string.

My Fender Roscoe Beck V is the sweetest bass I've ever played or heard... although I won't mind inheriting my dad's Hofner Beatle Bass!

Can't do that yet... he's also my bass player.

But for the Hofner and the Custom Guild X-170 I might be able to find another bass player... :wink:
